Terms and conditions

• All work carried out by K and L Autos carries a 12 month or 12000 miles manufactures guarantee on all parts supplied and fitted by us.​

• K and L Autos will find and fit second hand/salvage parts at the customer's request. Parts supplied this way will not be covered by the above guarantee and are fitted entirely at the customer's risk including additional labour costs to remove and refit faulty parts. We will also not be responsible for additional carriage charges.

• All vehicles left with K and L Autos are left entirely at the customer's own risk. This includes vehicles and contents.

• K and L Autos will presume all vehicles are taxed so they can be used and parked on the public highway unless otherwise informed - if we are not informed by the customer, any costs or issues incurring from this will be for the customers' responsibility to resolve.

• Vehicles with a value of over £60,000 must remain under the customers' insurance policy at all times while with K and L Autos.

• Please ensure that all locking wheel nuts are left with the vehicle and K and L Autos are informed of their whereabouts. Any damage incurred due to not complying with this will be at the customer's expense.

• K and L Autos will be pleased to return to you any parts that we have removed from your vehicle. Please advise us prior to work commencing on your vehicle if you require this service.

• Payment in full must be received and cleared before your vehicle is released to you, we will accept payment by the following methods:

  • CASH​​

  • DEBIT/CREDIT CARD - Only credit card or Debit cards with chip and pin will be accepted, should your chip and pin not work an alternative method of payment will be required.

  • BANK TRANSFER - Bank details will appear on the invoice or are available on request.

  • CHEQUE - bY PRE ARRANGEMENT ONLY - Cheques will need to cleared prior to the vehicle being released.

• Some work on your vehicle may need to be carried out by a sub-contractor. Should this be the case with your vehicle we will ensure that only fully qualified tradesmen are used for this work. You will be advised if work on your vehicle needs to be contracted out prior to any work being carried out. By agreeing to sub-contracted work taking place you are agreeing to be liable for payment for the said work. 

• Cars and property are left entirely at the owner's risk. 

• It is the owner's responsibility to inform us if the vehicle is unroadworthy including if it does not have valid tax, MOT or insurance.
